Well what more is there to say about Doperoms legal backups? Not much really as I don't really know much about this at all. I have tried to find out about it on Yahoo Answers but all I get is some information about Doperoms and legal or illegal download of games issues and back up questions.

If someone can set me straight on this then it would be a good thing. Not much of a gamer myself, although I did cut my teeth on the very first computer game in the world. The arcade version of Pong turned up one day back in the mid 70's when I was a teenager. There it was in the corner with some funny mushroom type seats and a couple of people were playing it. Turns out that the guy who invented it ended up buying a house from me in Narrabeen some twenty odd years later.

The story goes that he became a millionaire from that one game but unfortunately when on to lose the lot with his next business venture. Don't worry he has made it back again, many times over, with telephone plugins and game fishing boats.

Well that is my story and if anyone can help out with this, it would solve a big mystery for me.

Affiliate X: A members perspective review

Well where do we begin with this one? Affiliate X by some guy called Chris who is reported as making over $5 million in Clickbank alone.

If you are anything like me you will have probably been alerted to Affiliate X by an email from a (trusted?) source? Am I right? Well that is how I got to first look into what Affiliate X was all about. I received an email from the guys who run, (well I won't mention them but lets just say I once trusted them until it turned out their product didn't work but I stayed on their list just to see what other stuff they were trying push), and decided to check out the Affiliate X sales page.

Nothing new about the approach, all the things you come to expect from one of these, "oh but I am not a Guru, just a regular guy" gurus with all these millions they have made. The promises to make instant income to the tune of hundreds if not thousands of dollars a day is fairly typical and the sales page does sound very convincing.

A new trend I am seeing emerge is the "I am changing my career from affiliate marketer so now it's your turn, as I am into software now..." approach.

This attempts to convince people that "oh he has had his share and now it is my turn" type of psychology but if you look behind the scenes you will discover what is really going on.

Let me explain it this way, if these guys can convince you that they have stepped out of the way, and have allowed you as the next guy to come in on their coat tails, especially if they can fast track you there with some software, then you would be convinced right? Maybe or maybe not. But I can tell you what, it is a lot easier to get money out of your pocket on a regular basis if you are on what these guys call a "continuity program", that is they are continuing to charge you each month, which in this case is what happens with Affiliate X.

So if all this looks like it is stacked in the favour of Mr Chris X then you may be wondering why I would be looking at it in the first place. Good question.

I run my own SEO company, (search engine optimization for the uninitialed, which incidentally is what you need if you are to get into the affiliate game) and one of the promises on the sales page for Affiliate X was the lure of getting all of Chris X's trade secrets wound up in his software package that takes the hard work or guess work out of the equation and all of this is with "Free Traffic".

I was inquizitive at this point to see if his software generated SEO traffic for me, as when it comes to traffic there is no such thing as "Free Traffic". Sure you will turn up in the Google organic results but they are no means free. Yes Google sponsored links "Adwords" ads cost you money each time someone clicks on the ad while the organic side does not. But to get you site to rank highly in the top 3 spots or even just anywhere on the front page, is by no means free at all.

SEO is hard work no questions about it. Long hard work, and this is with all the software assistance you can get your hands on. So when he makes such a claim I am skeptical at best and outraged at worst. So what did I do next?

I Bought Affiliate X and then....

Then I decided that I had to buy a copy and see for myself what this was made up of.

Once inside you will notice the "tone" is a whole lot less pushy and Chris does a pretty good job of explaining what his program is all about, which is more than a lot of these guys do. So many times I have bought someones product to find myself lost in volumes of manuscripts or pages of confusing instructions. So well done on the layout, pretty good, but something a lot more sinister lies behind the slick facade.

The most crucial bit of research you need to do when preparing your affiliate campaigns, has to do with "Keyword Research". Get the keywords wrong and your entire prospect of making money is dismantled. It's a bit like picking up an incorrect map and heading off in the wrong direction to only find out your are lost when it is too late. (You need to have two things: Google Keyword Tool and Market Samurai, one is free the other is a one time cost but worth every last penny you will pay for it. period)

Your keywords are the absolute pinnacle of your success foundations. Sure there is work to be done once you get the right keywords but get them wrong and it does not matter what you do with poor planning and you are toast.

SO it comes as a big shock to find that for the very top rated of the Top 100 Clickbank products, the top keyword was one that would get you just one click a day IF and only you were at the top of Google, No#1 ranked for the keyword. My video above explains in detail how I did my keyword research and came up with the numbers using the indispensible tools of Google Keyword Tool and Market Samurai.

To me this is a major warning sign that Chris has gotten this program way wrong. Worthy notion but a miserable failure in my books if after all the backlinking efforts (and believe me they are considerable for this keyword, "maverick moneymakers review") that you were to get just one click. With the average sale or conversion rate of just 1% or 1 in a hundred, you would be there for a very long time expecting your seo efforts to bring in just $30 commission. At one click a day, that would be over 3 months to make a single sale.

I am a professional seo expert and I run my own search engine optimization company, HeliumSEO.com and this is how I know what I do about how much a waste of time and money Affiliate X is. To the uninitiated it all sounds so good, and looks just great. So what about all those "other" reviews claiming how great this product is? Where do they come from? Well no surprises here, people will tell you anything to make a sale, get used to that in this industry.

Incidently this is why I do so well with people who join my blogs, I tell it how it is. No bs, just the truth.

So if Affiliate X is no good, then is there a way to find out about affiliate marketing without getting burnt?

The answer is yes...

You can learn about affiliate marketing for free, if you are a beginner by signing up for the free course at Affilorama. Here you will be able to learn the basics and get a solid understanding about how to make money on the internet from one of the industry's true gentlemen, Mark Ling, he is a Kiwi, but don't hold that against him as he makes 7 figures a year in this business and he is very willing to share his knowledge with you.

Now if you are somewhat advanced or intermediate with your knowledge of affiliate marketing and are struggling to get over the hump to quit your day job income, then you simple must try to join up with James Schramko.

Advanced Marketers ONLYJames started out as a super successful luxury car marketer, ($300k per year) who left it all behind to do affiliate marketing full time. He only did this when he had equaled his day job pay packet, so he knows exactly what he is doing in this game. His teaching is advanced, so not the best place to start. And well he only takes on people who have been recommended by a friend to his Super Fast Results forum. Even with an invite it is join the waiting list to see if a spot comes up to be allowed to get in.

He charges $97 bucks a month, so you need to be advanced enough to be able to put his techniques into practice straight away to make your investment worthwhile.

I have been a member there for less than a month already I have several income streams that will pay for my membership 10 x over, and then some. There are so many professionals in this forum, it is awesome and I apologize in advance if you can't get it. James keeps the numbers to a limit to enable full attention to his existing members. One of the cool things with his forum is that they have Mastermind meetings in many of the major cities around the world, so that you can meet up to network with other like minded affiliate marketers.

Bottom line: Stay well clear of Affilate X, not worth it although it looks the part, there are far better ways to get there than this half baked piece of software.

Super Fast Results Anybody?

In the world of Internet Marketing there lies the lure of a great lifestyle. No more day job - gone, no more daily commute - gone, no more bills to pay with credit cards that are over the limit - gone, no more living in the stingey rented apartment with rats dropping out of the ceiling - gone! All gone in an instant, or so many of the IM gurus would have you believe - "Just sign here on the bottom line sonny and all these riches can be yours"!

All you have to do is grab this piece of super secret software, plug it in and press the button to instantly create the money spitting ATM in your bedroom that you just can't stop - even if you tried!

If you have been around the block a few times with the likes of the plethora of these modern day snake oil salesmen, I think you will have a solid feeling of tongue in cheek right now.

Sure the sales copy is good - most of the time it has taken over your good judgment by a stealth form of hypnotism called NLP. It could be fair to say that at the moment of delusion when you purchased that latest and greatest widget you were "out of your mind" - literally, not in a sound state to make a well informed decision. Such is the power of professionally structured sales copy that many of these marketers employ, at times costing them $10,000 for just one sales letter.

I recently came across one of these modern day wonder workers by the name of James Schramko. He runs an Internet marketing forum that goes by the name of SuperFastResults.com. Doing a little research on the guy via Google brings up a whole swag of reference, paying tribute to James' obvious rapid rise to success in this fairly crowded market of Internet Marketing super geniuses. His background is in car sales, no he was not a used car salesman but a high-end luxury car marketing executive on a $300k per year salary, that most people would drool over. James left it all behind him when he went full time as an Internet Marketer about 2 years ago. I am not going to mention any names but there are quiet a few of the big boys who are backing up this chap, do a search and you will see what I mean.

My own introduction to James was through a lady I met at the Bill Glazer "Outrageous Advertising" event in Orlando Florida in January of this year, many thousands of miles (kilometres) from my home in Sydney Australia. Her name was Catherine Maley and she runs a marketing company specializing in the plastic surgeon industry, we met up after my presentation on "You Suck, Unless You're No#1 on Google". She said to me, "Hey Greg, I see you come from Australia, I know someone from there you should meet".

I thought to myself, yeah right, so where is this guy, Australia is a big place? "Oh somewhere on the coast, maybe near you?". OK, the coast is big too, but you know what he happened to live just around the corner from me. Couldn't believe I had an Internet Super Affiliate in my virtual backyard.

I hooked up with James for a coffee a couple of weeks back and he invited me to join his forum, which is incidentally by invite only (I was previously on the waiting list from Catherine's invite) as he is a man of quality more so than quantity when it comes to helping out budding IMer's like myself. He has a $1 trial for 7 days and within that time I was able to listen to and download some truly outstanding content on setting up systems to work more efficiently and effectively. The real winner from what I have discovered so far has been the webinar on making "Fast Cash". I have at least 10 new models now to work into my existing SEO business to help my clients get better and faster results in the search engine stakes to help them drive higher profits.

There is around 100 or so very active members in this forum which makes it very personal, as most people seem to be helping each other out by sharing ideas and valuable experiences. I have only been in this forum for a week now but I have to say that I am very impressed with what I have learnt, things that would have taken me years to figure out on my own, (if I was even that smart) or maybe never learnt at all. There is simply no replacement for the valuable knowledge of people who are doing it themselves, right now. All the sales hype and testimonials you will read can never be a satisfying substitute for the real thing.

Well I don't know if James is going to open this up for any of my readers, so sorry if you go there to www.SuperFastResults.com and find the doors shut, but at least you can get on the waiting list and enjoy some free things in the meantime. Who knows you just might get a lucky shot in like I did, even if this nice guy James Schramko doesn't live just around your corner, you never know your luck, as the Internet makes the world a very small place just the same.

PS. Am I an instant success and bathing in a tub of 100 dollar bills yet? At the time of this writing, it has been a week since joining the forum and if you think you can make it that fast then I suggest you look elsewhere for some snake oil because as fast as James' tactics are, they are not going to make you a million dollars next, but stick with this guy's plan and do everything he teaches and yes you will ultimately be able to get to 6 figures and beyond.

PPS. I will keep you posted on my progress.
